Itris Automation, supplier of innovative solutions for PLC programming, will be present at SPS IPC Drives this November alongside PLCopen at booth 570, hall 7.
Itris Automation will once again be joining PLCopen at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany from the 28th to 30th November on stand 570, in hall 7. SPS IPC Drives is Europe’s leading exhibition for electric automation, attracting over 63,000 visitors and 1,600 exhibitors in 2016. The 2017 edition is set to be even bigger and better, with the topic of focus being Industry 4.0.
As an active member of the association, it is a great pleasure for Itris Automation to once again be co-exhibiting with PLCopen. Itris Automation participated in the creation of PLCopen’s coding guidelines, a global reference standard for PLC programming, and they have recently finished integrating these guidelines into their development tool, PLC Checker. They will be available at the fair to present this solution, along with their other solutions: PLC Converter, PLC DocGen, and the newly released ICS Monitoring.
ICS Monitoring is a real-time diagnostics solution to facilitate troubleshooting of PLC-based control systems and reduce machine downtime. The tool represents PLC programs in a dynamic, navigable data flow format within which the real-time value of each variable is displayed, in addition to cross-references displayed in structured text and ladder format. This allows the user to start from the output where there is a problem and to work backwards through the system to find any anomalies and to pinpoint the origin of this problem. To gather the live data, ICS Monitoring can communicate with PLCs either via a communication server with OPC, or directly with Modbus TCP. There are also options to integrate the tool with a version management system, to automatically keep the program information up-to-date, or with a SCADA system, for one-click access to diagnostics.
Itris Automation is a software engineering company that provides development and production tools for the verification, conversion, documentation and troubleshooting of PLC codes to complement the programming tools of international PLC vendors. Thanks to their advanced technologies, Itris Automation supports their clients, whether project managers, developers, quality managers or industry experts, in improving their development processes and therefore in delivering higher quality programs in shorter timeframes. With a team that is known for its vast experience and expertise in computer science and automation, Itris Automation’s aim is to provide innovative solutions to optimise their clients’ development processes.
To develop their technology and products, Itris Automation works in close collaboration with all sector representatives: the certification companies (for example Det Norske Veritas), the PLC vendors (Schneider, CoDeSys, Siemens, Phoenix Contact…) and various associations (PLC Open, Club Automation, Control System Integrator Association, ISPE).
